GET INVOLVED

What can you do?

Now that you've learned so much, you get to decide what actions to take on fighting these issues.

You can donate to reputable organizations that are working on

1) prison reform, or 2) social issues in general. A great organization is the American Civil Liberties Union, or ACLU. There are chapters in every state, and you can donate easily at aclu.org .

Do some quick research about what is going on near you, and see how you can help. A simple internet search of "prison reform + (name of your area)" or "incarceration + (name of area)" will return many useful results.
